Ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) are premium services that protect your vehicle for years. To get the best result, it is important to bring the car in prepared the right way. Good preparation saves time, avoids surprises, and helps us focus on what matters most – perfect paint and clean, strong protection.
If you can, give your car a basic wash one or two days before your appointment. You don’t need to make it perfect – we will still decontaminate and wash it thoroughly – but removing heavy mud and thick dirt helps a lot. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes, as they can add new swirls and scratches just before we start working on your paint.
Please remove personal items from the interior, door pockets, trunk, and under the seats. We need access to all areas of the car, and loose items can slow us down or get in the way. If you have baby seats, special accessories, or valuable electronics mounted inside, let us know in advance so we can plan around them or help you remove them safely.
If your car has fresh bodywork or a new respray, it is important to tell us before booking. Fresh paint needs time to cure fully before we can safely install ceramic coating or PPF over it. Depending on the paint system and conditions, this can take several weeks. We will ask a few questions and recommend the right timing so you don’t risk trapping solvents under the protection layer.
Before the appointment, check your car for any special concerns: deep scratches, stone chips, door dings, or areas that were previously repaired. Point them out when you arrive. Some defects can be improved or safely polished out; others might require body shop work, touch-up, or realistic expectations. It’s always better to discuss these details at the beginning.
Plan your schedule so the car can stay with us for the recommended time. Ceramic coatings usually need several hours for surface preparation, correction, installation, and initial curing. PPF installs, especially full-front or full-car wraps, can take from one full day to several days. If you need your car by a specific time, tell us in advance so we can recommend the right package and date.
After we finish, we will explain how to care for your coating or PPF: when you can wash the car, which shampoos to use, and what to avoid in the first days. If you follow these simple rules, your protection will last longer and look better.
If you have any questions before your appointment – about washing, bodywork, or timing – contact us. We are happy to look at photos, give advice, and make sure your car arrives in the best possible condition for coating or film installation.
